A vintage Yonezawa Occupied Japan tin and celluloid wind up toy Circus Tricycle in the original box made in Occupied Japan between 1947 and 1952.  When wound the unique mechanism in this toy will allow it to move forward about a foot, then spin rapidly in a circle and continue along in another direction, repeatedly.  The toy achieves this action via a fourth wheel that is on the bottom of the tricycle and is lowered during the cycle causing the rapid spin. The toy has some paint loss on the wheels and a spot or two in the blue paint. The celluloid boy rider figure is in excellent condition.  The original box is in very nice condition with only some minor staining.  The Circus Tricycle label on the box top depicts the toy very well including showing the fourth wheel, the Yonezawa logo, and "Made In Occupied Japan".  Nice original condition toy to add to your tricycle collection!  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS VERY NICE MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN YONEZAWA CIRCUS TRICYCLE IN ITS' ORIGIANL BOX.
