We are pleased to offer for your consideration an impressive, early 1900's electric German or French Goat Nodder. This adorable lifelike "kid" size nodding goat works very well and when plugged in and switched on (switch is on the cord) he will nod until you switch him off.  Be sure to watch the video above!  Measuring 20" in length, 10" in height to the top of his head, and 9" in depth, it looks like a real baby goat.  The goat is in all original condition with minor scattered hair loss (see photo #7) and some darkening to his hair.  It features a carton body (paper mache), huge glass eyes, and a natural fur coat.  This early example retains the original electro-magnetic drive mechanism inside his body.  The cord and switch have been updated for safe operation.  Access to the drive mechanism is via a trap door on the goat's back (see photos #8 and #9).  A small wire just below the door is used to keep the door closed.  The mechanism has a switch built in allowing the electrical current to be set for European 220 volts or U.S. 110 volts.  Right now it has been set for U.S. 110 volts with a new U.S. cord/plug. This wonderful antique electric goat nodder is a rare find and will make a fine addition to any nodder, automaton, or goat collection!  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES AS WELL AS WATCH THE VIDEO FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS AMAZING NODDING KID GOAT AUTOMATON.
