We are pleased to offer for your consideration an impressive, circa 1900, clockwork German or French Goat Nodder. This gorgeous lifelike kid size nodding goat works very well and when fully wound it will run for a few hours.  Measuring 20" in length, 10" in height, and 9" in depth it looks like a real baby goat.  The goat is in excellent condition with minor paint scrapes on one hoof.  It features a carton body (paper mache), huge glass eyes, and the original natural fur coat.  The clockwork is brass and easily wound via a removable key inserted through the right midsection.   A #6 replacement key that will wind the goat is included in the sale but a #5 would probably would be a better fit.  This wonderful antique clockwork goat nodder is a rare find especially in this great condition and will make a fine addition to any nodder, automaton, or goat collection!  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES AS WELL AS WATCH THE VIDEO FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS AMAZING CLOCKWORK NODDER KID GOAT AUTOMATON.
