Japanese wind up dancing sweeping bear

We are offering for your consideration a 1930's wind up dancing sweeping bear made by Kuramochi CK in Japan .  The bear is made of tin, it has lead feet, glass eyes and is covered with a fabric that looks much like Mohair.  When wound the bear has a hysterical action raising and lowering his torso causing a swaying and sweeping motion.  The bear will vibrate so rapidly on his lead feet that when he's on a smooth surface he circle's quickly to his right while he "sweeps" away.  This bear is in very nice played with condition and there is some play wear to the fabric covering (a little thread bare in places).  We researched this bear for the maker and found it is often incorrectly referred to as being a German toy.  We were able to locate a photo of a similar bear in a book that we had in our own library.  The reference we used is on page 177 of THE TEDDY BEAR COMPANION VOL. I by DEE HOCKENBERRY.  The author refers to the bear as being manufactured by CK aka Kuramochi of Japan and actually had the original box for positive ID in the photo.  We were able to locate only one bear that had the complete broom in it's hands the others were just a handle or it was missing altogether.  This bear came to us empty handed so we created an identical broom to the one we had located.  This Japanese tin wind up mohair covered sweeping bear measures about 6 1/2" tall.  This is a rare toy that will make a fine addition to any early Japanese tin wind up toy collection.  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS ADORABLE LITTLE TEDDY BEAR.
