We are pleased to offer for sale a very rare circa 1910 Fernand Martin #219 "Les Valseurs" Waltzing Couple clockwork toy.  This dancing duo are in great condition and work very well.  When wound the couple will move in a circle, travel  a short distance, stop, circle a few turns and then it's off in another direction.  Be sure to watch the video above to see them in action.  The spring is wound by turning the bottom of the mechanism hidden under the lady's dress.  The Martin trademark FM is stamped into the right side of her tin skirt beneath her cloth dress (see photo #10) and the export mark is on the opposite side.  The clothing on both figures is in wonderful condition with a few scattered rust spots on her dress and while there is a little missing paint on their heads, the faces of both figures are untouched and remain in very nice condition.  The Waltzing Couple measures approximately 7 1/2" tall, 4 1/2" from the back of her skirt to the back of him, and 3" deep.  Here's a rare opportunity to add one of the more elusive Martin "little people" to your antique toy collection.  Don't wait or they might dance away without you!   PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AS WELL AS WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS RARE EARLY FERNAND MARTIN CLOCKWORK TOY.  If you are located in Canada and wish to purchase this item, please choose Priority Mail EXPRESS International during checkout so that we may insure the item adequately. Thank you!
