Bing pressed steel water wagon toy

We are pleased to offer for your consideration the earliest version of the pressed steel Bing water sprinkler wagon made in Nurnberg Germany around 1906.  This pressed steel and cast iron toy is in original condition and it has not been restored or painted.  The wheel for the water valve turns freely and the hinge on the lid operates smoothly.  The cast iron wheels are a bit wobbly at the axle, however not enough to affect their ability to roll quite well.  The sprinkler fixture at the rear of the wagon is missing one end tip and a couple of solders on the shield below have let go. The wagon measures 14" long from the sprinkler to the hitch with the handle adding another 11" for a grand total length of 25" in length.  The tank mounted to the wagon stands 9 1/2" tall at its’ highest point and the wagon measures 6" wide at the cast iron wheels.  The wheels are 3 3/8" in diameter.  This is a big sprinkler wagon.  We did replace the pin between the handle and the hitch because it was missing.  We have included a picture of the page out of the 1906 Bing catalog advertising the water wagons, as you can see from the photo the water wagon toy was made in several sizes.  It's always nice to find an antique toy in its’ original state that has not received a new coat of paint or a heavy cleaning.  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS WONDERFUL LARGE PRESSED STEEL ANTIQUE TOY.
