EPL No. 535 Dancing Sailor tin wind up toy made by Ernst Paul Lehmann in Germany.  This antique toy was manufactured from 1904 until 1948 and portrays a drunken sailor swaying from side to side when wound.  He also will balance on the top of his head as if doing a handstand as he moves in a circle while moving his legs.  Please see the video above to see him in action.  He is all original with wonderful paint.  He does have some paint wear near the key on his back under his shirt but the paint on his face is excellent.  There are minor scratches to the paint on his shoes and little chips here and there elsewhere so please be sure to view all photos.  He does have a few scattered holes in his clothing and some fraying to his collar as well as shortened tails to his hatband in the back, but this wonderful toy is still in very nice shape for its age.  PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND USE THE ENLARGE AND ZOOM FEATURES AS WELL AS WATCH THE VIDEO FOR THE BEST DESCRIPTION OF THIS EARLY E.P. LEHMANN DANCING SAILOR.
